V2Ray Guides
and Client Ecosystem

Our focus, editorial standards, and responsible-use guidance.

Guides and Downloads

V2Ray Download Hub covers installation and configuration for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, with secure downloads organized by platform and guides grouped by language. Desktop guides cover Windows, macOS, and Linux; Android guides explain importing subscriptions, configuring routing, and troubleshooting connections. This is an independent resource site, not affiliated with client developers, and does not provide nodes or subscription services.

Project V and Its Core Implementations

Project V is an open-source proxy ecosystem best known for V2Ray. V2Fly continues V2Ray’s community-led development, while Xray grew from a related codebase. They share some configuration concepts, but protocol support and settings evolve by version, so the two cores are not automatically interchangeable. v2rayNG primarily uses Xray, while v2flyNG uses V2Fly. Available cores and switching options in v2rayN depend on the current version.

Editorial Standards

Download checks focus on source, client name, and platform architecture. Find installers on the Downloads page. Guides are based on hands-on steps and note menu labels, required permissions, and applicable conditions; behavior that has not been reproduced is not presented as a general rule. For interface differences or operational questions, check Troubleshooting. New users can start with the Getting Started Guide.

Responsible Use
